The new Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 acoustic set consists of three segments, all three components are powered by a 1000 W Class D amplifier and have Electro-Voice QuickSmart DSP system control. System composition:

active subwoofer with a 12” LF speaker, 15 mm plywood enclosure, operates from 37 Hz;

the connecting stand of the subwoofer and the HF component is fixed in the subwoofer with a magnet, and the top is held by its own weight. The switching cable for the HF component of the acoustic system runs inside the stand;

The high-frequency component consists of eight neodymium speakers with a diameter of 3.5", forming a type of linear array, the power of 8 speakers is matched with the power of the 12" low-frequency component. The new EVOLVE 50 system provides a sound pressure level of 127 dB. Each 3.5" speaker has a waveguide that forms a high-frequency range to create a horizontal opening angle of 120 °, but vertically the sound energy flow is distributed asymmetrically with a predominant downward slope, with a vertical dispersion angle of 40 ° for greater coverage of the seated and / or standing audience. The array is enclosed in durable ABS plastic.

All components are supplied in transport cases, which mainly protects the appearance of the acoustic systems in rental activities.

The built-in processor has a simple setup with factory presets for the type of use: Live, Speech, Music, Club. The settings also include an equalizer, user settings manager, Delay, phantom power +15V, limiter indication, input level control and output signal level control.

The newest feature in the control of Electro-Voice acoustic systems is the Electro-Voice QuickSmartMobile mobile application. The connection is via Bluetooth® Low Energy (BTLE) technology, allowing wireless control simultaneously for up to six EV EVOLVE 50 sets and with the ability to transmit high-quality audio signals, it will be useful for use in any tasks, for Event companies, musicians and presentations.

Along with the highest sound pressure level and wide coverage, the EVOLVE 50 provides clear voice reproduction for presentations, conferences and conversational events.

New components and tuning provide full-size sound from the elegant form factor of the EVOLVE 50. As you would expect from the world-famous manufacturer Electro-Voice, the precise linear response occurs at the highest output levels of the system. The wide horizontal and asymmetrical vertical angle of the HF component will eliminate sound energy leakage, so it is possible to have exceptionally clear audience coverage and clarity of sound from the front and sides, whether installed on the floor or on the stage. Extensive testing of the internal custom components, amplifier signal processing module and equipment enclosures has been performed to requirements exceeding industry standards to ensure that this system is the most reliable loudspeaker system available today - both structurally and sonically.

Every detail of the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 system is plug and play. Installation is quick and easy thanks to the connecting stand.

The input panel, with easy access for making settings and connecting the connecting switching, includes the best-in-class QuickSmartDSP interface with clear navigation of the system parameters, carried out via a liquid crystal display with one control button, multiple optimization settings and functions for signal routing. This system was presented by Electro-Voice (a division of the global company Bosch) at the exhibition of professional audio equipment in 2017.
